The Greater Cleveland Wrestling Coaches and Officials Association (GCWCOA) has been in existence since 1947. The mission of the Association has always been to organize and promote the sport of Amateur Wrestling. The GCWCOA provides the opportunity for Coaches and Officials to meet and discuss improvements in our sport.

2008 Senior East vs West All Star Meet & Banquet
This years All Star meet will be held at Garfield Hts High School on Friday, March 7 at 6:00pm. (CANCELLED Match). The banquet will still be held at the Holdiay Inn Banquet Room in Independance (I-77 & Rockside Rd) on Wednesday, March 12 at 6:00pm. Please visit our ALL STAR MEET page for all the details, deadlines, and forms.
****The East vs. West All Star meet has been cancelled for this year due to the winter storm that shut down Northeast Ohio for 3 days. However, the wrestlers will still be honored at the East/West All Star Banquet as previously scheduled on Wednesday, March 12 at 6:00pm at the Holiday Inn-Rockside. PLEASE encourage all wrestlers to call in reservations for their parents & friends for this banquet. Deadline for calling in reservations is NOON on Tuesday, March 11 and must be made by calling 330-487-5798. If you get an answering machine, you must leave your name, # of tickets, school affiliation, and a return phone #.

Coaches Procedure for Reporting Wrestler Records to Plain Dealer
Coaches are asked to send their wrestler's records electronically to Sean Jackson for reporting to the Plain Dealer. Sean has volunteered to compile all this information and submit it in a nice easy format so that our student-athletes receive the recognition it deserves. ALL coaches are encouraged to participate.
