BANQUET DATE CHANGE
The Greater Cleveland Wrestling Coaches and Officials Association’s East vs West All-Star Meet has been a tradition in the Cleveland area for many years. The All-Star meet, scheduled for Friday March 13 th at 7:00PM , the banquet, and festivities have grown over the years and has made this a proud and prestigous event. Numerous college coaches come to the All-Star meet to look at prospective athletes. Garfield Hts High School has been gracious enough to allow the use of their facilities to accomodate this fine tradition in wrestling. It is important to note that ALL participants must be Seniors and their Head Coach MUST be a member of the GCWCOA for the wrestler to be eligible for this meet. Please make sure your coach and/or assistants are a member of the Association. (archived 8/31/09)

GCWCOA Wrestling Clinic
The GCWCOA is hosting a Wrestling Clinic at Strongsville High School, Saturday, November 1st, 2008. Our featured clinician is Head Coach Tom Ryan of The Ohio State Buckeyes, Division I National Runner-ups, and the coaches of the year from the GCWCOA, Dan Milkovich DIII, Dick Bliss DII, and Mike Antonyzyn DI. 2008 Senior East vs West All Star Meet & Banquet
This years All Star meet will be held at Garfield Hts High School on Friday, March 7 at 6:00pm. (CANCELLED Match). The banquet will still be held at the Holdiay Inn Banquet Room in Independance (I-77 & Rockside Rd) on Wednesday, March 12 at 6:00pm. ****The East vs. West All Star meet has been cancelled for this year due to the winter storm that shut down Northeast Ohio for 3 days. However, the wrestlers will still be honored at the East/West All Star Banquet as previously scheduled on Wednesday, March 12 at 6:00pm at the Holiday Inn-Rockside. PLEASE encourage all wrestlers to call in reservations for their parents & friends for this banquet. Deadline for calling in reservations is NOON on Tuesday, March 11 and must be made by calling 330-487-5798. If you get an answering machine, you must leave your name, # of tickets, school affiliation, and a return phone #.

Annual Coaches & Officials Dinner
The GCWCOA will hold it's Annual Coaches & Officials Dinner on Thursday, MARCH 29, 2007 . The Social will begin at 5:45 , and dinner will be served at about 7 PM . Cost for Members is $25.00, Non-Members, $30.00. President, Mike Rovtar will honor our Award of Merit award winners, as well as Coach of the Year in Divisions I, II and III. Also, Official of the Year and Assistant Coach of the Year will be selected. Any one interested in attending this awards dinner at Harry's Steak House should call (330) 487-5798 to confirm a reservation. Reservations must be made by Monday, March 26th. Please check out our 2007 GCWCOA All Star Page for all the forms and participant information. We also have banquet information being updated weekly as well as archived all star meet results. ALL STAR lineups have now been posted! The lineups are subject to change. MATCH Starts Promptly at 6:30pm. Reminder to ALL PARTICIPANTS to make sure they have there family's and guests of the all star banquet, to be held March 13, have RSVP'ed and secured tickets to the banquet.
